As our membership continues to grow, we are proud to bring together representatives from the oil and gas industry, law enforcement, emergency management, emergency services, and local government to better protect the Cushing area.
Through collaboration and coordinated emergency response, SAC has provided critical resources and personnel to support countless situations and help prevent potential catastrophes.
None of this would be possible without the dedication and hard work of our members. We sincerely thank every member and organization for contributing their time, expertise, and resources to making SAC’s mission possible.

SAC was formed in 2001 after a local oil spill highlighted the need for stronger coordination between industry and emergency responders. What began as a mutual-aid effort evolved into a broader commitment to preparedness, security, and protecting Cushing’s critical energy infrastructure.
Over the years, SAC has become a recognized example of effective public-private partnership, bringing organizations together to strengthen emergency preparedness, share knowledge and resources, and build a safer, more resilient community.

SAC is committed to protecting and strengthening the Cushing community through preparedness, education, collaboration, and mutual aid. By creating and maintaining strong partnerships between the oil and gas industry, emergency responders, law enforcement, government agencies, and the community, SAC works to enhance emergency readiness, share critical resources, and strengthen the collective ability to respond to and prevent incidents.
Through continued cooperation and a shared commitment to safety, SAC strives to build a more resilient, prepared, and secure Cushing community.
